We’ve been using this seat for two months now, and the switch from the 5-point harness to the booster took maybe five minutes with the built-in guides. My 38-pound kid fits comfortably in the forward-facing mode, and the height range in the description is spot on for our use.
The 5-point harness is so easy to tighten one-handed, even when my toddler is squirming. We’ve already used it on two long road trips and the crotch buckle doesn’t dig into his thighs at all. He’s got room to grow before we even think about switching to the booster mode.
My kid hit 30 pounds last month and the switch from rear-facing was honestly painless—the 5-point harness clicks tight in seconds and the seat fits his shoulders perfectly at 29 inches. We’ve already used it as a booster for my older niece and I love that we won’t need to buy another seat for years.
